Purchased a Stevens 301-T last week, mounted a Burris Fastfire 3 and tried the factory choke and a couple of Reloader's #9 TSS loads and what I got was just okay... Picked up a Carlson's .390 TSS choke and shot it this afternoon with the same loads and I'd say I see dead turkeys in my future out to 40 yards and maybe a touch further... Large, 30" paper is at 40 yards with a 2-inch aiming Square. The smaller paper is just a Primos patterning target at 20 yards. Every pellet in the load in a 12 inch square paper but not so tight if he or I flinch I'd missed like if it was the size of a baseball
