What is everyone's favorite lead shell? I have shot a bunch and right now I guess my favorite would be the Longbeard #5.
In my 20ga guns I use 3" Longbeard® #5 also.
Longbeard imo is one of the worst. It's too tight and unforgivable. Winschester supreme was it now I'm using federal grand slam
I am liking the Longbear XR #6's I have never seen any #5 from any maker that I have liked the pattern on.
Winchester XX 3/2/6's (Red Shell)
Can run this shell through several of my turkey guns that are set up for HTL and it will kill turkeys all day long inside 40yds.
Have a couple of lead shooters in particular with this shell.
160's in a 10 @ 40
140's in a 10 @ 40.
20-25yds the whole pattern is in a 10" circle.
Longbeard 3.5 #5's
old federal 12ga 3inch #4s mag shok or strut shok
Winchester xx #4
Activ 3" 2-1/4oz #5's
Winchester 3" XX 2oz #5's
Federal 3" 2oz #5's
