General Forum / Re: Crows even eat turkey eggsLast post by austinc - Today at 10:53:56 PM2 different instances this year after doing some soft blind calling I had a crow come in and land in a tree 25-30 yards away, no doubt in my mind looking for the hen it heard and eventually the nest.

But turkeys will drop an egg in the road or while just walking at times. I have seen them and read about it somewhere. That is probably how the egg got in the road. I would think a crow would eat the egg right there in the nest. #4

General Forum / Re: Crows even eat turkey eggsLast post by Sir-diealot - Today at 10:13:19 PMSomebody here did an experiment where they and their kid put eggs out in I believe it was a abandoned turkey nest and left a camera behind to record it and if I recall correctly crows were often the first ones there. I THINK this was part of some kind of national or regional experiment and crows were often found to be the first to raid a nest. I hope the person that did this will correct me, I can forget details sometimes because of my meds and don't want to come off like I am lying.
