What's the best way y'all have found to condition and maintain a bare aluminum calling surface? I have one that is by far my favorite sounding call while in running condition....but it gets "unconditioned" pretty quickly and loses its "pop"...wondering if anyone has some tricks or time tested know how, thanks

I clean mine with plain old with alcohol swabs, that is all I have ever used.

Alcohol wipe then green scotch brite.

Don't forget to clean your striker tip also. It will get really polished on the bare aluminum and may take a littler work to get it clean.
