just curious if anyone has a problem with the "reach" (length from trigger to grip) on there 835. I love the way this gun patterns but I have to choke up on the grip to reach the trigger which puts the top of my thumb closer to my nose, when shooting heavy loads i basically punch myself in the nose. I have been looking at the SGA stock from magpul that they put on the 590, have not been able to get my hands on any to see, but I think the more vertical grip will shorten the reach on the trigger. Thanks in advance for any help.
I do not have any problems myself with my 835. Do you have any shims in your recoil pad you can take out? Maybe a pistol grip would help you out. Best of luck.

no shims in recoil pad, or at grip area, I have tried a pistol grip ar style but just didn't like the feel of it as far as the cheek weld, but did improve my trigger reach some
Why don't you just move your thumb to the side opposite your face?
