Anyone tried this new tss load, l want to try it, just wanted to know if I should try the 8's or 9's?
9's will give you a fuller pattern that can be choked to be more forgiving, 8's will penetrate better and pattern at a higher percentage. As far as anyone should be shooting at turkeys, I say 9's are the way to go.
Not real big on how Apex got the recipes, but they shoot very well.
I bought 2 boxes of the TSS #9 shot after the season was over. They shot well and for the hunters who do not hand load Apex is the way to go. The Apex put 280-300 in the 10" at 40. If you have any questions give Apex a call. The guys there are first rate.
