Anyone have any pattern pictures with the stock choke and federal tss 9s?

Well that proves to me I don't need to spend the extra as I normally would on an Indian creek!

Apparently these stock Stevens are known to vary. Mine measured .580, I've heard of some .010-.015 variances, so it might serve to check yours. These shots were at 38 yards, and I agree, I'd feel fine with either.
I kept the Carlson in since I paid for it. But I might do some comparison on other loads later. I did shoot a light field load 7 1/2 at about 15 yards with it and it dang near blew a 8" hole in the paper! IMO, you could use a high brass 2 3/4" #6 field load and take a turkey easily at 25, maybe 30 yards.

I have a stock NEF 20 gauge. I dont nkow what it is. I was going to run some TSS 7s and 9s through it. it is not threaded.
Any idea what will happen? Should i get it threaded?

I wouldn't. Until I shot it as is.
I have a Winchester 37A that is fixed full and it shoots Federal TSS 9's at 225 or so in the 10" at 40 yards.

:icon_thumright:, I had an older savage that shot 8's great and 7"s really good.
your not going to hurt your choke if that is what your also asking, besides how it will pattern.
