Title: Oregon Archery Tom
Post by: Dan Mallia on April 19, 2016, 09:47:34 PM
Spent the past weekend in Oregon chasing toms with my archery gear. Had this one locked in and coming to the dekes and when I drew the bullhead tipped arrow fell off the rest and got all jammed up. The bird didn't like that and walked off but hung out in the area.

After about 20 minutes of trying to coax him in, he wasn't going to do it so I switched to a regular arrow and broadhead. Took him at 20 yards out and zipped one into his vitals. He  ran 20 yards and piled up dead.

19.8lbs, 8 3/4" beard, 5/8" spurs. Good 2 year old.
