My Vortex Venom is the 3 MOA version.  Has 2 little up and down buttons on the left side.  The one that goes up makes the dot get bigger, the one that goes down makes the dot get smaller.  Pretty intuitive.  I can't make the dot go away.  I keep pressing the down button and it nvers goes below the lowest setting.  I usually don't read the instruction manual unless I've already broken the item.  Fortunately I haven't broken the sight yet.   So do I need to read the manual now?

You're welcome, glad I could help. Best of luck during the season.
