Walked in at 5am this morning to my spot with a buddy, barely light we kick one out less then 100 yards from where our set up would be. Kinda ticked off but sat down and called till 730, with one gobble maybe 4-5 hundered yards away, no interest at all.  I Have to be at work by 830 so I decided well go for a walk... Walk maybe 20 yards away from out set-up down the path, and we kick one out of the roost. This bird never made a sound, not even to my locator call. On our walk we kicked out 2 more gobblers from the roost, which at the time was close to 8am. With the warmer weather coming, and it getting light earlier is there something I should be doing diferently to get them talking, and is this normal for hem to stay in the roost longer? I already got my bird for the year the first day, just trying to help my buddy on his first gobbler
