One of the first signs of spring showed up in the mail today, a KP trumpet! As always KP knocked her out the park. USMC0331 and I decided to go all out this year so we found a blank of cocuswood that KP could get two call out of and ordered some mammoth ivory for the mouthpieces and sent them to the KP studio. A nice touch with the ivory bead that was from the left over ivory. Now I am waiting on a savduck lanyard and she will be ready for the woods!

I will post a picture of the pair of our trumpets but will allow USMC0331 to post an individual picture of his.

Beautiful grain on that cocuswood.  I bet Kenny had fun with the mammoth ivory.  Very elegant pair.
