Mounting a red dot on a riser?

I am thinking of putting my TRS-25 on a one inch riser so I can put a fiber optic sight as a backup. Would I run into any issues with the red dot being so high off of the shotgun?

You may have , you would have to see where you would have to place your face on the stock . If your face is too high up on your stock you may get a red dot to the eye. You can get a quick detach mound that way you are golden.
