Whats the teams thoughts on having our own Window Makers competition?

Thought it might be fun to do something for whoever kills the biggest bird this year. I haven't reached out to anyone yet but I know I can find a custom call maker to make a customized call for the winner.

Maybe a engraved box or pot that says something along the lines of 2019 Widow Makers Big Bird? I'm open to suggestions. Thought of the idea from a buddy getting me an engraved box from David Halloran for being in his wedding. Doesn't even need to be an engraved call if most don't like that part of it. We could do a pot, trumpet, box, tube, whatever.

Everyone pitches in $5 we have $72, or whatever they want. What do you guys think? I just don't want anyone getting upset at each other. Base it off final score at the end of the contest that way its other teams/Shannon doing the policing. I could even be excluded as captain if needed.

We did that one one year for our captain. His name was Jay. Afraid I may know the answer but does anyone know what happened to him?

If everyone likes the idea of a call for the winner I'll pitch in $15. If everyone's ok with it they could PayPal me the funds, comment to this thread how much so everyone can track it, then see where we end up and decide on a call. Say make a decision on a call by 4/1?

Just some pot calls, 3.5" slate over glass has become my favorite.  Funny thing is, i don't use one when hunting by myself.  I take 3 shells and 3 mouth calls soni can stay on the run if needed.  Calls I've made i used to call a bird in for my dad and a few friends, i gave then the calls as we were checking out their bird.
