TJ makes one of the best and was taught well. He is also one of the finest young men you will meet.

At Unicoi I took a bloodwood/butternut from Marlin and one from TJ, I didn't look at who made which one and ran both. I could not tell who's box was who's. Both played super easy and sounded great. My opinion, TJ's are just as good as Marlin's.

Lamar for sure and that's not close.  I would also say yes on lapp.  I have quite a few from both Lamar and Lapp and I would stand by that statement every day.  I'm not saying Lamar or Lapp make a bad box, I really like both of them...what I'm saying is TJ's are already great, but it also makes sense, he has one of the two best teachers (Dawkins and Marlin are the best in my opinion) and using Marlin's design.
