Alright after 12 years i finally wore my Delta Lathe out. What is a good Midi lathe these days...looking to upgrade and They don't make the La200 Delta that i can find anymore. Been looking at the Jet 1015.  Is Jet better than Delta, or is there something better the both ?

What are you guys running for a lathe? Thanks

Same here...I have 2 Jet 1014's that are 12 or 13 years old.  Blew my second motor last week so I ordered a 1015 NON variable speed. I've had it with variable speed stuff from Asia. I can swap a belt pretty quick.

I just set it up and like it. Will pick up a motor some day to fix one of the old ones for a spare.
I looked at Rikon 70-100 and others but stuck with the Jet.

I been using a nova comet 2 midi lathe for the past year..3/4 hp, variable speed, I really like it works very good for what I use it for,,  pot calls and strikers... you can find them on ebay, comes with a chuck and free shipping,,,,,,,,,,,,,
