Hevi 7 lot number question
April 06, 2011, 10:23:02 PM
I went to a store in town today hoping they had some shells left from lot 300325 since they have shot so well for me. Well, I start opening boxes and they all had 300326 stamped on the inside of the flap and then just below that they had 300514 stamped in slightly smaller type. Does anybody know what year these shells were manufactured and why they seem to have two lot numbers?

I'm not sure if mine had another number under it but I did buy a box last year that was 300326 lot and they pattern great. I checked my gun before this season with one and got 318 in a 10'' at 40yrds..

They might have stamped too many of the 300326 boxes and restamped for the lot that actually went in the box.
Anyway, some on here have had good results with the 300514's. I have some but haven't shot them yet, too busy chasing longbeards right now.
