Using decoys today

Used a jake and hen decoy this morning. Set up about 75 yards from the roost. Birds flew down, and headed our way. Before they got within 50 yards and before they saw the decoys, they turned. I let them walk a min, hit my Wood Haven box call thats when they turned and noticed the two decoys and came in running. By the way they were already with hens too.
Needless to say they came in to attack the decoys and ole Tom is dead. If it were not for the decoys todays hunt would have been a little tough. The 25 MPH winds had already kinda made them lean over some. The real birds didnt seem to mind.
