MAD Gobbler Max Pattern Pictures

I got the chance to try the MAD Gobbler Max .660, MD-1210 in my H&R Topper Deluxe Classic 3" 12 ga. Ammo is 2 oz. Mag Blend 5,6.7's.
My buddy ordered one for his sons Mossgerg 505 20 ga. and they sent him the 12 ga. invector. He called Midwest and they promptly sent him the correct tube and didn't want the 12 ga. choke back. I wonder why?
I have never seen a choke that wasn't polished inside.This one is as rough as the outside of my barrel.
I see lead shooters posting better patterns. This was my best 40 yd. pattern.
123 with Mag Blends?
Maybe I expected too much out of my rabbit gun.

I'd polish the inside of the tube, it's not going to hurt anything.

clean up the inside of that choke tube and your numbers should increase

I'd polish that barrel also and try a different choke.  .660 is a bit tight in my opinion for any type of Hevi load.  I would try something in the .670-.675 range if you can.  That pattern would kill a turkey though!

Thanks guys. The choke was free so I thought I would try it. If I buy a turkey choke for that gun it will be in the .670 to .675 range. If I'm out grouse hunting and bust a flock of turkeys it would be nice to be able to change chokes and ammo and have a good turkey setup.

.660 is not too tight depending on the gun. In a mossburg 835 yes in a remington 870 no. It depends on the type of gun. I do not know enough about the H&Rs to really coment on that gun in particular.
