I'm headed to Swainsboro this weekend to do some turkey hunting. Does anyone know anything about the populations in this area?

It depends on the exact tract of land you're on, but in general, we're down on the turkeys more this year than years past. They seem to be gobbling decent on the roost and getting quiet on the ground.
