Purple heart, dymondwood, snakewood, bocote, and tulipwood.  These 5 seem to run great on everything.

Recently got a couple from Mike Yingling. Got a bloodwood and black locust that are one piece. They both sound great. Also have a fiber rod and two piece diamondwood. Great strikers as well. If I had to pick 5: bloodwood, black locust, diamondwood, yellowheart and hickory. No particular order. I also have trouble only taking 5. I'm envious of the guys that can run just 2 strikers. I like the variation the different woods make on the same surfaces.

Triple Gobble

Dogwood, Osage, Canarywood, hard to beat.  Pappy and
Fred Cox both make top notch strikers.
