Here's a picture of my 40 yard and 20 yard shots. I pulled the 20 yard shot just a little. Total of 113 pellets in the head/neck area at 40 yards. Sorry I didn't have a big enough target to really show the entire pattern.

Looks really tight to me. Better be on him, and hope he don't move his head when you shoot. But, it'll dang near take his head off if you hit him.

Took my bird last year with an older square back 390, 665 constriction and LB XR'S in 5's last spring.    Similar devastating results.   We all like em close but too close can be a problem too.  My son's first gobbler was taken at 11 yds.  He didn't understand at the time why I was so excited.  When back at the public land parking area I safely hung a target and had him shoot another @ 10 yards.   Then he understood.   Absolute golf ball sized pattern.......and that's way before they came out LB XR'S.    I always thought an o/u would be great, choked super tight and the other wide open, but really like my Beretta and it is not finicky at all.   Feed it anything and it just eats.

Bring your point of aim down into the feathers below the wattles for birds that are inside 20 yards. Harder to miss them when you're aiming there instead of the head at those distances.

Great pattern!

I did a little more shooting today. Only thing I wish is the pattern was a little more evenly spread, but I was still able to get 220 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards. I shot another turkey target at 40 yards and then, just for fun, one at 50 yards.
