Has anyone come across a good sounding striker, that does not clog up with aluminum so fast? Just seems to me this surface kills a striker quicker than most other surfaces? I did just ordered a Dymondwood, hoping that helps, any other options? Thanks

I've got a couple diamondwood strikers that I've been running hard on all surfaces and I haven't touched them! Still going strong!

Lights Out Dymondwood is my go-to for anodized aluminum.

Bill Lyman snakewood. It'll run any surface.

I make my own out of driveway marker stakes .... the white one with the reflector on the top....cut to desire length .... add a head of some hardwood.... works even when wet .....

or take a carbon arrow shaft cut off .... the local archery shop has plenty for free...... push into a dry corncob as and leave about 5"  showing ..... a really loud proud and raspy sound .... waterproof too

I have old broken carbon arrows, just never considered them. As other carbon strikers are much smaller in diameter than carbon shafts.
