Thanks for all of the kind words. I want to say that this was a LOOOONG process over the past year. He went through MANY mistakes and filled up the burn pile, all part of the process. I can't tell you how many attempts he made at making a lid and getting the radius right. When he finally did and the lid sounded good he messed it up cutting the inlay grooves ( I tried to talk him out of inlays but he wanted them) and had to start all over. I am really proud of his perserverence because their was a lot of frustration, especially with dad telling him what he was doing wrong!
