I bought a Stoeger M3500 to set up as a dedicated Turkey gun.  I am going to mount a Nikon Red Dot scope on it and leave it on.  My question is: Do I put the thickest shim on it to raise the stock to it's highest to fit better to see through the scope?  Did i say that right???   :TooFunny:

Well,I did put the thickest shim (#50) on it and it feels pretty good.  I will see how it feels after I mount the scope.

Tail Feathers

I wish I could help you but I'm just posting to say let us know how it turns out.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Will do Tailfeathers!  A weaver 93A base was suppose to be included with the M3500 but was not in the box, so I called Stoeger about it and they said "no problem, we will send one out to you right away".  Stoeger says I should have it within the next 10 days or so.  As soon as I receive the base, I will install it and the red dot and post here.
