Wood types for tube call?

What are some of your favorite type woods for tube calls as far as getting good sound quality? I know there are other factors in sound quality such as reed thickness/adjustment and design of call that come into play but I was just curious about wood types. I guess to take it a step further, how do you think density of certain woods affect sound quality? I have a black walnut tube call that has a more life like sound that some of the other wood tube calls Ive played. Then again that could be attributed more to design of call than wood type but it got me to thinking...Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Strutter.

I recently purchased a non-baffled bloodwood tube from Bill Baublitt. I've got several and this one moved up to the head of the pack. Good luck Strutter!

I don't think wood types other than looks makes much difference on a tube they have been made from pill bottles, snuff cans, pvc pipe, bamboo, ect, and if a person can play one they all sound great.

wood type makes little to no difference....Inside diameter versus outside diameter and length.  laytex thickness and stretch.
