I have read the thread in the DIY section but don't know if it will help me. I was going to just let a pair of legs dry. I had reservations about this but I ask around and everyone told me it would work. A month later I go out to the barn and find a pair of rotten turkey legs. I cut the spurs off cleaned out the marrow and scraped them the best I could. Do you think that going thru the steps of the cleaning thread will help me now or is it to late since they stank BAD !

It will work following the tutorial, wear gloves, pull the caps and boil the bones and degrease.  Maybe a mask :P
