Well got my boy tagged out today.

So we get set up super quite .real close to the roost had 6 or 7 gobbling right off the bat .so I did a little tree yelping just set them off .then a big boss gobbles they shut down Damn so we sit in silence not a bird to be heard anywhere .
at 7 we here one way up on top a hill gobble gobble  . So I play that sweet sound they love so much he runs down the hill get behind a Bush and puffs up for the girls takes 2 steps out of the Bush ended his day ..
he said thanks dad for all you're hard work just for me ..

This is his 5th year of turkey hunting and at 13 he can now respect the hunt now , and seeing first hand all the hard work I put in to get all the farms to hunt and all the scouting , he went out every weekend got up at 4 am, in the woods before 5 am  sometimes sat till noon in the same spot watching for birds .this is the first year I let him shoot 2 big birds he earned booth of them ...
