You know sometimes when you see something, but you still got to try it yourself to believe it? Well let's just say I believe! I've had these shells for a while but was waiting for a decent day to try them, even though today wasn't ideal I just had to try it. I shot a Turkey Thug 3-1 7/8-5 first and got 131 in the 10. Gun is a 26" barreled original stalker A5 Invector plus with a .665 IC. I bore snaked and alcohol swabbed before shots. Was 57 degrees, cloudy and a little windy. This was a taped 40 yds from the end of the gun barrel. I believe these may be to tight as most of the pattern is in the 10 with very little in the 20, but 203 in the 10" @ 40 with a 3" lead #5 is unreal! I got a box of #6 on back order with Cabelas, who knows what they'll do. Won't really matter though because I'm a #5 guy anyway. [/URL]

Man, I was just telling my wife how ridiculous this even sounds. I do a lot of patterning, and I still can't fathom this. I just told her they're going to call me a liar, because I don't know if I would believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. I assure you this is the honest to goodness truth, I have no reason to lie I just posted because I thought it was amazing!

Xcal1ber

Nope I believe it 100%. A member here, which is a friend of mine posted up a pattern with the Long Beards #5's at 38 yards and was over 200. That right there will take a turkeys head clean off it's shoulders.
He shouldn't ought done'nat........ He dead.

Roy, that 30" barrel ought to show out. I couldn't get the numbers you've got before with some other #5 lead with this same gun, but it sure liked these shells. Who knows, it was only 1 shot and may not do it again. Post up pics when you do. Still got to try my 3.5" gun with the #5 and #6 LB's.

That is awesome. I believe you 100%. That is tight for 3". My 3.5" is doing 180ish in 10" circle with enough room for error that I am comfortable. I bet that 3" has little to no wiggle room. Maybe too tight?

Yeah, really I was hoping for the 150 to 175 range. I've got 3 other chokes for this gun, 2 are pretty tight and shoot about like the IC, but I've got a Kicks .680 that just might be perfect.

I have no idea, I only shot 1 time. I do intend to find out, because thats what I am worried about. I'm going to try it with a little more open choke and see what happens.
