I was using a crystal call last year in Nebraska.  For some reason I couldn't get it to work?  I would condition it and it wasn't long and I would be back to square 1.  It was super humid and I never got the call or striker wet.  Has anyone every had this problem with crystal?  Are other types (alum, slate, etc) a little better in humid conditions?  You can bet I will be prepared with mouth calls this season!

I've personally never had that bad of a problem here in NC.  Be sure to keep your striker tip very clean a dry.  I've also found that diamond wood strikers are a little less finicky about super humid days.  Anodized aluminum is is also a pretty good choice for less than favorable conditions too...but that's just a personal preference. Best of luck!  :icon_thumright:
