Thinking about building a 20ga turkey gun. I want something short, light, auto, and less than a grand. been contemplating an O/U.any suggestions. Like to see and hear about 20s y'all are shooting

I'm wantin to build one too and at the moment I'm really likin the m2 but the franchi affinity feels a whole lot like the m2 for a lot less money.

I bought an Affinity this year in 20g and love it.  Used the money I saved from not buying the M2 as a deposit for a new archery rig.  Nothing against the M2 - it is a heck of gun - but the Franchi is way easier on the wallet.

Does the affinity cycle low powered shells too? I'll probably rabbit and dove hunt with it too

Honestly, I haven't run any rabbit or dove loads through mine yet, but plan to. 

It has cycled 3 inch nitros flawlessly  ;D

I read an article about the affinity and the guy testing it shot everything from light skeet loads to federal heavyweight 3" mags. He claims the gun performed flawlessly.
