:newmascot:  Here in central illinois like most of the country we have had cold wet day's for most of the season, with the 5th looking the best so far.  The Tom's seem to gobble less as too be expected.  the Jake action is down comapred to years past but they are still around.  Have seen more Jenny's this year, they seem to be feeding more or perhaps just becasue I got to see more action.  I don't think it is hurting the breeding season just the hunter's ego's.  The weather should clear up to have a perfect hatch, but we will see.

The areas near the river bottoms area will see a decreased hatch I'd bet.  Water came up, went down, came up, went etc...

We watched a hen on a nest sitting about 2 feet from the flooded water line this spring.  I'm guessing we lost those amongst many others.  I hate it when we get so much rain during the hatch.
