I hunted this public land gobbler for 10 days and had him almost in range 3 different times. Today at 2:10 with just a few hours remaining in the season he finally came in and I shot him at about 35 yards. He is a young bird with 10 1/8 inch beard, 3/4 and 13/16 inch spurs and weighed 19.687 lbs.

Birds are acting strange, not showing much interest in the girls, not gobbling much. It's been hard hunting for me.
Spring turkey hunting, I love it so.                FREEDOM IS NOT FREE

Congrats. Persistance pays off!
Red meat isn't bad for you, fuzzy green meat is bad for you.

No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.

Congratulations.

I applaud your toughness for hanging in there and getting that bird.

Georgia birds have been tough this year too. Never Goggle and not coming to any calls!
