Finally got one to work out. Killed him Saturday morning. I'm downloading pictures now will post with story later. Weighed only17lbs, had a 9 and and a 4 inch beards, both spurs were 1 inch.

Here are some pics. This bird didn't gobble till 7 am. he gobbled his fool head off so i figured he was by himself. Got set up on him and he came in on a string, strutting all the way. We heard 3 more gobblers but my wife and her best friend were hunting them. So my best friend and me took off to strike one up. It was an awsome hunt, especially with my good buddy.

One of my students this morning whacked olut a freakin monster. Bird weighed 22.5 lbs, had 4 beards, smallest one was 7 1/8, longest one 11 1/2. Bird scored 116.5 on the nwtf calculator. Dang it was huge. Stinking kids ( naw im just joking), Im glad he got it, its his biggest bird ever. Ill try to get pics.
