I'm building a NEF 20ga. What rails are you using for these builds? I've heard marlin 336. Is it a cut down piece or a part of the 2 pc? The optic is a tru glo not quite as small as the fast fire but pretty close

You see the 336 Marlin base mentioned because that is the model that happens to be already spaced on the Mossberg 835 rear base mount holes.  Is your NEF already drilled and tapped or will you have to have that done.  If it isn't D n T'd you can litterally have it done for any base that fits the contuor of the barrel.

The gun will have to be drilled and tapped. I'm getting the barrel threaded Friday and if I have a mount the rail will be drilled as well.

Do you happen to know which 1 fits the New England's?

This may help I got this off of h@r web site the weaver # is 82(48082) the h@r/ nef is sku#72920 that's from h@r I've got to get one myself...
