Great ammo find... sort of

I walked into a hardware store on the north side of madison yesterday and was delighted to see several boxes of old federal 10 gauge turkey loads. There were 5 boxes of 2 1/4 oz #4s and 6 boxes of #6s.  About half the boxes were old federal premium boxes from before they had a turkey on them and the other half was the even older cream colored boxes from before they started using and the premium name.  I had every intention of buying the whole works until i saw the price tag 24.99 a box! When i asked why so much for shells amost as old as me the clerk assured me that the oldest box was from 2008 and the price was firm.  I fought back a chuckle and told him maybe maybe i will come back in a nother 20 years and buy the whole works.  I know its a free market. But wow.
