what kind of cleaning rod are you useing

Not sure, I picked it up from a trap shoot that I was at a few years back. I will look and see if I can find any info on it.

I checked on what brand the cleaning rod is but the name is worn off. I have had that rod about 8-10 years.

I just saw on Brownells they sell a brass cleaning rod with a 1/4" hex shank to mount in a drill for barrel polishing.

I used a .30 cal cleaning rod to polish my 835. used 3 sections chucked in my cordless drill with a 12ga brass brush wrapped in scotch brite pad soaked in wd40 after 250 passes my bore is a mirror. use the 12ga/20ga chamber guide.
