My wife gave me a 100 dollar gift certificate to Harbor Freight for my B-Day. What is the 1 tool you guys can't do without? Under 100 and any price? I need ideas for this certificate.

Well not quite sure if you mean chisels or just any random tool.. but i really love my foot pedal. You plug it in, then plug in lathe, belt sander, dremel tool, etc. Really nice and really useful. Great safety thing because you can just step off you dont have to reach over and turn it off.  Got mine for 20 bucks at penn state industries maybe harbor freight carries them as well not sure.

Joe, I'm not a big fan of harbor freight but I did find this air eraser there. It's what I use to etch my glass. You can also use it on aluminum to bead blast. You would also have to pick up some 220 grit media to shoot through it. As far as there power tools go stay clear. Chinese knock offs.

Cut*N*Run

I just bought their trim router that so far has worked well for me. They also have a mini cut-off tool that looks good for squaring pen blanks and cutting carbon arrows.

If you do a google search, you can find websites that breakdown which power tools are ok and which to stay away from. Of course, the hand tools are a safer bet.
