My hearing is not what it used to be. I also have tinnitus. Have any of y'all ever used one or two of the game ears?

Yes...I have and recommend highly. But I also suggest that before you buy anything try to get to some show if you can and talk to Bobby Walker himself. He is a hearing specialist by trade. Let him help and instruct you on use of Game Ear and which one would be best for you and let him fit the Game Ear for yea.

You don't need to have the volume up loud. Keep the volume at a low setting that is natural. You'll hear great!

Turkey Beard

I'm glad to see this question and look forward to the answers, too.  I bought the quad version of the Walkers Game Ear last fall and it was uncomfortable for me in the deer woods.  I figured that I didn't need to hear quite as well for deer hunting anyway, so I left it at home.  I DO plan on using it for turkey season, though.  Thanks!

I have bought and used practically every type of hearing aid and used them for turkey hunting over the past 40 years or so.

For most turkey hunters, the Walker Game Ears are the optimal choice.  They have several "grades" and all are good but I must say the lower priced ones seem to work just as well for me as the more expensive ones.

A hunter must be committed to using the devices.  They can bother you, drop off your ear, are easily lost and magnify every chirping bird, log truck, and your buddy's yelping.  BUT, if you have trouble  hearing a distant gobbler, they can revolutionize your hunting.

Dollar for dollar, the Walker Game Ear products are the best option for a spring hunter (and I have paid as high as $2000 for hearing aids...lost them...).

Muffs vs "over the ear" vs "in the ear"?  I own all of them and I am an "over the ear" man.
