I got a black shur shot stock for my 870.  Couldn't find one in realtree hardwoods hd.  Should I keep the black or camo forend on until I get the gun dipped?

Skeeterbait

I would put the camo forearm on it and tape the stock till you get it dipped.

camo forend with black buttstock i would leave it that way looks pretty cool :you_rock:

Reloader

I would go with the camo forearm and paint the butt stock.

3 coats of tan(letting dry btwn each coat), stencil in grey, black, and brown, and it will look just fine.

I would go with all black, but that is just me.  The birds will not care one bit.

Keep the camo forend on and tape the stock untilo you get it dipped!  But then I hate black forends and stocks.

All Black.  I love black accents on all camo (guns and bows).

Go with whatever you like.  If the bird gets close enough to tell if the stock and forend is black or camo its his unlucky day.

Camo forearm.
Paint tan. stencil in green, brown and gray. I don't use black in camo any more.
