Does polishing the barrel make that much differance?

depends on the gun.
if its a mossburg the gain will most likely be huge

I just got the supplies to do it in the mail yesterday.  I have a 535 and an 870 20 gauge to do it to.

I'm doing two Sunday afternoon. 835 and 500.

my test have shown me that I will gain at least 15% more hits. That is the smallest gain I have gotten, most are around 20%

I am shooting an 835 Ulti, having a hard time getting a good pattern from it . Just purchased a PG .670 and a box of Hevi-13 #6. Hoping that will make a big differance. I am also thinking about polishing the barrel. Thanks for the input.
