Has anyone tried these? I know they are pricey but I need a better chair. I've tried the ghost chair and alps .

I've had one for 2 years and love it.  It's extremely comfortable and is very light.  I took the backpack straps off and just use a padded strap from a turkey lounger.

Looks well made

I used to use a lafuma chair about 30 years ago , but the back part was too short ...then came along the cabelas gobbler lounger ..they have been copied or vice versa by dozens of companies

The pros of the gobbler lounger is it is super comfortable,  buy HEAVY if it's a short trip your good , long hike and it gets left behind

Recently I've been using a momarsh lounger seat ...extremely comfortable , and it allows you more versatility, but bulky

This new chair I'll have to take a look at ..looks well made

Well ... I now have both the turkey seat and the pac seat. Anyone looking for a quality made chair should absolutely look at these. The turkey seat is about 8 inches lower than the pac seat. Both are awesome.... very versatile and extremely light weight.  I have tried several turkey seats looking for 1 that will last and I believe i may have found 1. Time will tell. The pac seat will work very well for blinds since its a little taller off the ground. And both are very comfortable.

I have some pictures but have no idea how to put them on here.

I must say, looking at their website the Waldrop doesn't look very compact or easy to carry.  They use the same pics for the turkey chair and the regular, higher seat so it's hard to say with certainty.  In the pics, it hangs down past the guys's knees and looks like it would bang on his calves with each step.  And the bar across the top of the back?  I'm not knocking it as I've never seen one in person but those are my concerns. It's five pounds, a savings of about 1.6 lbs over the lighter lounger seats.  It would have to be super comfortable for me to pay that much just to save less than two pounds.
Maybe it's one of those things you have to try to see all the benefits.

I was also skeptical until I got to put my hands on 1. As soon as I saw the quality and how light it was I was sold.
As soon as I can ill measure the over all length of the turkey seat

Folded up length is 29 - 30 inches
