Burris FF3 and Sumtoy Protector Mount ?

Recently purchased a Sumtoy Protector mount off of a member and am pairing it with a Burris FF3. The mounting instructions for the sight say to torque the sight to its supplied base with 12 in-lbs of torque. My question is, do those numbers still work with the Sumtoy protector mount? Also, I know it is literally written on the regular mounts, but since this was purchased from someone else and it does not have instructions, at what torque should I attach the protector mount to the receiver?

Send Sumtoy a message and he will let you know. If not he will probably be along shortly.

Thank you very much. Excited to get it on and try it out this year. Pretty sure this will be my final solution with optics and  peace of mind.
