Okay guys , Just to let you know , I am extremely busy at the moment,  trying to get my duck whistle customers some calls ( overwhelming demand ),  when that situation has been taken care of I'll transition back to making push pin calls

I probably won't be able you make as many push pins  as in years past , but I'll certainly try , and then stubbornly try some more ...one issue is the materials..especially the ebony type hardwoods have shot up in price , and I'll be forced to pass that cost ... along to the customer ...

Another issue is call flippers , (I'm watching you ) I'll be making some adjustments to foil them

...before anyone asks , I'm not accepting any names to any list in any form

Best regards

Shannon

Can't wait .... to all those waiting on the pintail whistle ... its awesome and I guarantee it works . My season just ended here in Illinois but 3 very nice drake pintails fell victim to "The Whistle" ....it works

Demand will once again exceed supply.  I look forward to hopefully someday having a SK push pin in my vest before I go to the big roost in the sky.

Thanks for the update.  I also look forward to the opportunity to possibly obtain one of your calls.  I was only a couple seconds late one time a few months ago.  I would have loved to have gotten one, but it was also pretty darn exciting trying to be the first one to reply and hoping to be the winner !

Looking forward to seeing some beautiful work!

I'm game, even though "I ain't got game" as they say. But I will persist, however pathetically, in my efforts to "compete " with the tech savvy field. And, appreciate the opportunity to do so OG!

The way he put them out last year really seemed like a good option. There were a few guys who got lucky. I wish that I had the answer.

I'm probably going to have post count minimum on EVERY call , long standing Members with high post counts will stand a much better chance ..also 1 call that's it

Unfortunately inflation is so stupid these days I don't like transferring that cost to the customer,  but the extensive time to make one call if I don't ask for more , I might as well go in to work on a day off
.

Regrettably some (new) people with fast connections bought calls last year
..and you guessed it , flipped em ..those type of people clogged up my books in the past , so I made a few roll calls years ago when it climbed uo to 7 years , i stopped taking names ...made some announcements..and took the book and threw it in the campfire ...people still contact me saying this or that ..but sorry  not sorry ...it was literally ruining my call business , all I can do is try and take care of my customer base , and that base is HUNTERS not collectors ...not flippers., find another way to make a living ..I'm tired uo supporting them directly,  and the ones that do it  to other call makers and flip them here and do NOTHING to help the upkeep of OG

I will probably make some push pins towards the end of February

Shannon, I can`t blame you for looking into these people. I was fortunate to purchase one last year. I will use it for hunting and wont sell unless I`m no longer able to hunt. I saw where people were selling more then one at an inflated price. One is enough for me and I will be cheering for other hunters to get one. Thank you for making these fine hunting calls.

That is awesome news .... im really glad  you are hopefully catering to the hunters in the group. It should give some of us technically challenged old guys a little chance. Im sure we all appreciate it ..... :turkey2:
