Reminiscing Joe`s Fish Camp

[Old Timer]

I lived in Florida a few years after service. Worked construction and the docks. I meet a friend who was concerned about my well being. His parents owned Joes Fish Camp in the glades. He would invite me out and i would relax a few days. They never charged me for camping there and I ate my share of catfish and hushpuppies. Alligator Alley was the road.
Never did get back there. Had to leave the area because of illness and needed surgery. Such nice people reaching out to me. I have tried to goggle it but it`s probably long gone. For you Florida guys has that area built up or changed much? Just reminiscing about folks that have impacted my life in a positive way. You do that some times as the years go by.
