:TooFunny:is right.  I had a VERY well packaged rifle come back from the stock maker with a AAAAA piece of Claro walnut that had FORKLIFT TIRE TRACKS on the outside of the box.

There is a perception "gap" with what the general public **thinks** is adequate packaging , and what will ensure that your package makes it all the way in one piece -

Yes damage does occur ,even the crazy kind - but if you pack it very well you will greatly reduce the odds of damage
