Which Gun

I was at local gun shop where I saw an Escort 20ga turkey gun in bottomland camo I believe had 22" barrel. Had adjustable sights with a cantilever mount attached to barrel. Does anyone have one and what's your opinion.

I just bought Escort Auto in Bottomland 410 have not shot it yet. I just got x full Jeb's choke 381 for it also.. The 20 ga and 410 looked really good ..

Yea it does. Has me interested. Just over 6lbs. They only had one 20 ga. This had magazine cutoff button     Keep me informed on yours.

A friend of mine has one in a 12. Runs flawless, shoots straight.

Well it came home with me today. I'll give reviews when I get it setup. Did email Hatsan it does take Remington chokes.

Took gun out today to test out. Put FF2 on got it sighted in with bird shot. Emailed Hatsan factory turkey choke .565. No 20ga TSS on hand. Shot Winchester Supreme 1 1/8 oz 3" #5's. Shot at 30yds got 110 in 10. Got 16 pellets in spine on turkey target from Missouri Conservation Dept. website on 11"x17" paper.  Swabbed barrel between shots. Good even pattern. Gun worked great. Choke stayed tight. Barrel nice and shiny.

There you go. Seemed easy, congrats!

Thanks I'm very happy with gun. Trigger needs a little work to take up slack. Crisp it up some. Ill get some TSS soon to try. I believe stock choke should be good. Firing pin really hammers the primers. I would have tested farther out but started raining.

Apex 3" 1 5/8 oz #9's came in yesterday. Today I sent one round down range to 40yds. 275 in 10. 30 in spine and head. Core is what I consider hot. Same impact as my lead Winchester loads. Load carried a kick. Gun is light. Charge was dirty. One very happy camper here. I would recommend this gun with stock choke.

Old Timer

Glad it worked out for you. I have Apex 3inch 1 5/8 oz #8 to try. In New York we can`t use #9.

I got my son one this past spring, put a fast fire on it. I ended up carrying it more than anything. Shot burgess creek #9s and otnwas deadly. Good little gun for the price point.

We finally had a pretty day so I decided to shoot a couple of turkey guns. The Escort 20 did 289 in ten at lasered 40 yards with Apex 3" 9's.  Only third time shooting it. It's ready to go.

I picked up one this week and pretty impressed with it so far.

Only complaint would be the trigger needs to be lightened up a little for me.

Paired it with Carlsons TSS and XR choke. Shooting TSS #9s at 40 and both had great patterns.

Hard to beat for $350 + tax and transfer fee.

I'm looking at these shotguns too, can't decide between the turkey and the youth. I like a red dot mounted low .  The youth has 11 mm groves for mounting an optic ? Not sure how that would work . Those of you that have the pirating rail model is the rail removable?
