Drought

I live in Montana and we have a bad drought going on. Very little rain for months. The rivers are in bad shape, the hoot owl law in place for most rivers in the state. Before to long fishing will be shut down on a lot of the rivers until we get rain. Fires are not to bad yet,but as dry as it is we can end up with VERY BIG fires. The ranchers are hurting, they got their first cut in. Might not get a second. Some ranchers are already selling off cows. Hay prices are already going up. I heard of someone paying 300$ a ton last week. Some small outfits won't be ranchers any more by the end of this summer.

I hate to hear that and will pray for rain and help for your fellow ranchers.

Not allowed to fish in the afternoon and evening.

Fortunately New Mexico is getting some relief, it was crazy hot and dry all of June, the monsoons have kicked in and hopefully they keep it up!
