Can a call be to raspy?

I like my beers hoppy and my calls raspy.  In my book, there's no such thing as too hoppy or too raspy!

Dogfish Head 120 IPA.  It's so hoppy it's like chewing the bottom of one of last year's alfalfa bales.

I like raspy calls. IMO the more rasp the better. The only time I prefer a clear call is in the fall to simulate a young bird.

If you listen to a real hen she can be very clear and then be very raspy all in the same sequence.  I like a call that can do both.

I like a lot of rasp in all my calls. I don't care for low and raspy, I like high pitch rasp.

I like raspy calls on calm days but on windy days I really like the clear sound so it rings through all of the wind.
