Mine was 164 in a 10" at 42yds - Moss 835+.676 StarDot+Win HV #6 3.5" 2oz - most were 140's-150's

Best I have seen was low 180's in a 10" at 42yds - Moss 835+.670 SSX+Win HV #6 3.5" #6 2oz - most were 150's-170's.  This is the best shooting lead gun I have ever seen.

The best lead pattern I have shot was with:
Win XX 3-2-6
Mossy 835 20" barrel
Pure Gold 670 choke
barrel polished and deep cleaned

Back to back shots added up to 202 and 197.  Outshot the H13 3-2-6 load so bad I never even counted the H13.

So is that what you currently hunt with? That is incredible for lead. Congrats.

Yes, the Win XX load is currently my load of choice.  I rarely hunt fields, and try when possible to set up so when the turkey is in view he is within 35 or so yards.  I have ordered some of the H13 3-2-7 loads just to see what they will do, but I am very happy with the numbers I have gotten.

Best I have gotten since I really can remember counting 10" circles is:

1 7/8 oz NP #5.5 lead - Handload
Ruger Red Label/.665 CNC XXFull

166 in 10" circle at 40yds
This load, however will average in the high 150s with this combo. It would probably creep close to 200 if I used #6s

Im getting 150+ with FFC 2 1/4oz #6, 835-hastings 680.  The H13 2 1/4-#6 shoots 185ish in same combo. At 50yds or more the H13 would have a greater advantage but I rarely hunt fields and try to setup so when I can see him he's in range, or should I say when he can see me he's in range.

150 is the best lead pattern I've had.  Mostly my good lead patterns were in the 130s.

I used a combo that gave 120-130s for years. It still gave around 80 at 50yds and put every tom down on the spot that I shot out to 50.

Anything over 140 is outstanding with lead IMO.

Indian Creek and Hevi 13 are both worth the money.

Here are some numbers with the old 3" Federal Premium 2oz loads in #4's and #5's.. They were shot at 35yds on 16"x16" cardboard.  All shot with 835 w/ (0.718") Clearview Ported turkey choke.  24" non-ported barrel.

3" Fed Premium 2oz #5's (Not FC wad)

208/10" circle  61.1% payload
294/on the target  86.4%
Even though target says #4's this is the #5 load (wrote the wrong info down)

184/10" 54.1%
271/on the target 79.7%
Numbers are down some since I pulled the shot a little right.

3" Fed Prem 2oz #4's (not FC)

141/10" 52% of pay load
225 on target  83.3%
