I feel lucky... I found a copy of “A One Man Game”
« on: June 09, 2020, 01:16:12 PM »
I love to collect turkey hunting books. Today I found a rare treasure. I was able to secure a hard copy of Kenny Morgan’s “Turkey Hunting: A One Man Game”

Now I know the book isn’t super rare, but it has been fetching several hundred dollars for a hard copy and I was able to get my hands on one for much less.

Looking forward to reading it.

I just saterted reading it myself. The stories are so good I don't want to read it too fast, just kind of save them and read one or two every few days. I am sure I will reread this one quite often.

My brother just loaned me a copy of that book. He said it's a really good read.

Kenny Morgan is one of the best writers on turkey hunting. He can take what he has learned and put it into words so that you can understand the concepts behind his success. Very observant fellow. His books are some of the best. Too bad he has left us relatively young.

I have a Signed copy as well. I also have his Unique Tube Call in a signed Zebra Wood case.  Never used that though.

A good find and a great read!  Tom Kelly is considered the "poet laureate" of turkey hunting.  Ken Morgan should be our "philosopher laureate"!  His insight into hunting turkeys and all that goes with it is fascinating and shows his deep thought and commitment to the sport.

The paperback version is readily available for $20 to $30. I’ve seen them on Amazon and eBay.

Yes you an get them from Amazon for 20 plus tax and shipping if you buy from Amazon and a bit more if you buy from his wife, I chose to buy from his wife myself, came to 27.50 after tax and shipping.
